The safe storage and handling of chemicals for industry is now a reality!
We often focus on how to improve efficiency in textile plants regarding product distribution and preparation. In addition, we also often work with ready-made chemicals in the textile plant. Their correct handling and storage also represent a challenge to be efficient and respect all safety measures.
In textile industry it is vital to work with chemicals and auxiliaries for the treatment of the fabric and the textile finishing.
Most of these products usually arrive through an external supplier for on-site storage. If we look after this part of the production process as well, it will mean an advance in cost savings and investment in safety.
Controlling chemicals for textiles
Loading and storing chemical and auxiliary products is the beginning of the production chain.
By controlling it we can monitor the level of product consumption, make predictions and have an exact control of the product in real time.
This will lead to forecasting in order to optimise supply purchases, re-negotiate prices with suppliers, based on the volume of production, and control the use of the right quantities of raw materials for the treatment of the fabric, drastically reducing the level of waste.
The handling of textile chemicals and safety
At the same time, we must also manage a no less important issue: security.
Many of the products from the chemical industry, arriving through our supplier, are incompatible with each other, and may have a high level of toxicity, corrosion or even be inflammable, among many other aspects.
Therefore, chemical and auxiliary products used in the textile industry must be correctly handled and stored in compliance with safety regulations.
Proper storage and labelling of textile chemicals is not enough.
A storage solution for chemicals and textile auxiliaries
At EAS we are always innovating on how we can improve each of the different production processes in the dyeing and textile finishing industries. The arrival of goods and storage is not a minor issue, and we succeed in finding a solution.
TecnoFill is the 4.0 solution designed by EAS to optimize loading, management and storage of chemicals and liquid auxiliaries.
It is a complete and automated system which enables all these chemical products to be safely loaded and stored as well as providing control and registration of all these products.
It is a textile machine that contributes to:
- The saving of chemical and auxiliary products, because the system can predict the amount of product needed for production and supply the precise quantity.
- The high quality of textile finishing, since it improves the quality of the fabrics manufactured.
- Significant reduction in re-operations.
- Optimize the human resources of the textile plant thanks to its complete automated system.
How does TecnoFill work?
Through its loading lance, Tecnofill suction the product taking it to the selected storage tank which has level probes that will keep the product under control at all times, providing the ability to control and monitor its status in real time.
Once the load management is completed, TecnoFill applies a load lance wash leaving it ready to suck new products into the storage tank.
The product load is registered in an online inventory with all the product information, thus obtaining a traceable itinerary indicating all when the product is sent to the machine, the quantity, the operator who authorizes the management, among other parameters.
With all these data we obtain the traceability and optimization, offering a saving in the textile production costs in a short period of time.
At EAS we continue to work on the development of 4.0 technology to automate textile plants effectively.
