The probe consists of an Ø16mm stainless steel tube open at the lower end and having two pneumatic connections at the top, one for connecting the BL transmitter and another for the air inlet regulator to the tube. Depending on the liquid level, the outlet air pressure will vary and will be used by the transmitter to indicate the corresponding level.
